The Stephen Savage Show

On this episode, Savage suspends the podcasts hiatus for a moment to take a call from author Simon Daryl Wood, who's book "Deconstructing Jack: The Secret History of the Whitechapel Murders" has caused quite a stir in the Ripperology community. In a newly release Expanded Version off the book, Mr Wood theorizes that Jack the Ripper never actually existed, and was in fact a fabrication of media and newspaper hype, police manipulation, and a whitewash of the actual number of murderers walking the streets of the Whitechapel district of London in the fall of 1888.

One this episode, Savage introduces us to episode 2 of Fatal Gothic, a True Crime History Podcast that he produces along with actress Julia Parker.  The episode is entitled "Louise Clapp and the Gold Rush Murders. 
California, 1850. Louise Clapp lands in San Francisco with a sick husband and a need for a job. On this episode, Savage takes a Zoom call from France to welcome back to the podcast for a second time, Actress, Director, and Voice Over Artist, Nathalie Boyer. Nathalie talks about her election to the Board of Directors of ADAMI (similar to SAG-AFTRA in the US) and her duties as President of the ADAMI Foundation for the Citizen Artist. The two then discuss Natalie's acting career, her animal activism as the General Secretary of the French branch of Earthrace Conservation, and her active participation in marine protection missions worldwide. Plus she recounts her resent travels to China with an Allstar group of filmmakers to bring awareness of the rights of film and television performers throughout Europe and the world. 

On this episode, Savage welcomes into Cranium Wheel Studios, Jazz legend and educator, Dr. Marshall Hawkins. Marshall talks about his amazing career playing and recording with such iconic artists as Miles Davis, Roberta Flack, Herbie Hancock, and many more. He also speaks about his founding of the Jazz program at the Idyllwild Arts Academy, the prestigious performing arts high school in Idyllwild California, which led to the creation of the Jazz In The Pines Jazz Festival, a world renowned 30 year music festival. Savage also gets Dr. Hawkins to speak about the upcoming documentary on his life as a musician and educator. 

On this, The FIRST eppisode under the new Radio Free Idyllwild flag, a rembranding away from The Savage Podcasting Network, Savage reposts an interview from 2021 with Filter guitarest and film composer, Geno Lenardo. Geno talks about his years as the lead guitarest and sonwriter for the Post Grunge phenom band, Filter, and his work scoring and compoising for such blockbuster films as I Frankenstein, Anger Management, and the Underworld franchise.
